Pir Panjal is the mountain range in the Himalyan mountains of Jammu & Kashmir state of India. It cuts the Kashmir valley from the rest of country. currently there are two roads which connects the kashmir valley with the rest of the country, 1-National Highway, 2-Mughal Road. In this blog the main focus is on the Mughal road and the surrounding beauty of Pir panjal.
Mughal Road
This picture was taken from DKG in which there is a view of Pir Panjal in the Poonch district of j&k. In the view you can also see the view of Pir Ki Gali. There is a dense forest near to DKG in which there is a variety of Wildlife. In summer there is lush greenery every where. You can move to anywhere using any local guide. In the winter season this place attracts a lot of tourists due to fresh snowfall.
In this picture there is the view of Bufliaz town which is located on the Mughal Road. due to ever flowing river this is also a famous place.
This is the view of village Dogrian which is located below the Mughal road near Shikar Gah. This is very beautifull village you can stop your vehicle and enjoy the charming view.
This is the view of ER. YOUNIS SECTOR on the Mughal Road. This place is known as Er. Younis Sector because of an accident which took place at this place in which an engineer lost his life after his vehicle in which he was travelling hit by a stone. After that incident this place is commonly known as En YOUNIS sector.
In the picture you are seeing the most beautiful place on the Mughal Road i.e PIR KI GALI. this is the highest place on the Mughal Road at an altitude of 11500 ft approx. Most of the time its raining here. But if you starts your journey early in the morning from any of the nearby places, you can enjoy the beauty of this place. In the summer season this place attracts a lot of tourists. But in the season of winter due to heavy snowfall this place remain untouched for about 4 months every year.
This is the river of ZAZ NAAR on the Mughal Road. due to melting of snow the water is very cold even in the month of May, June.

Aliabaad Sarai is also a very famous place on the Mughal Road . It is also a great destination which attract tourists to visit. There are green meadows near to this Sarai which are very useful for animals . during the summer season most of the rural population migrate to this place because this place is very helpful for the grazing purpose.
This is picture of PIR KI MARG on the Mughal Road. Marg mean endow with natural beauty. and PIR KI MARG have a very vast area. It is about 5 - 6 km along the Mughal Road.
